At the big Galaxy Unpacked event held on July 10, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6, several other new products were introduced. Among these, two of the most attention-grabbing were the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra. The devices, which went on sale last week, have started receiving their first updates. Here’s what’s included in the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra update.
Galaxy Watch 7 Update Focuses on Performance
The new update for Samsung’s latest wearable devices, the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra, comes with software version L310XXU1AXG2 for the Watch 7 and L705FXXU1AXFB for the Watch Ultra. The update, which isn’t very large in size and focuses on improving device stability, performance, and fixing bugs, has a file size of 173MB for the Watch 7 and 330MB for the Ultra.
Additionally, the new update includes the One UI 6.0 Watch version and the July security update. If the update hasn’t yet been released for your device, it may vary by region, so it should be available soon. The update, released simultaneously for both devices, is mainly performance-focused.
If you want to check for the update on your Galaxy Watch device, you can go to the Galaxy Wearable app, click on the Watch settings, then select Watch software update, and finally, choose Download and Install to check and download the update.
Do you use the Galaxy Watch 7 or Watch Ultra? Do you think the update for the Watch 7 is sufficient? Share your thoughts in the comments.
